Amy from I Heart Hoops Named in Australia's Top 50 Kidpreneurs
Share
We are so excited to share that I Heart Hoops founder Amy has been featured by Herald Sun and News Corp as one of Australia's Top 50 Kidpreneurs for 2026.
The national list celebrates young Australians aged 18 and under who are building businesses, developing new ideas, and turning their passions into something real.
From an idea to I Heart Hoops
Amy founded I Heart Hoops in December 2024 at just 15 years old. A basketball player her whole life, she grew up searching for jewellery that reflected her love of the game and kept coming up empty. Everything she found was bulky, masculine, or just not made with a girl in mind.
So she built the brand she wished existed.
I Heart Hoops is Australia's first basketball jewellery brand designed specifically for female athletes. Every piece is waterproof, tarnish-free, and built for girls who live an active life — the kind of jewellery you wear from training to school to weekends without taking it off.
Less than two years in, the brand has customers around the world.
What this recognition means
Being named in Australia's Top 50 Kidpreneurs alongside so many incredible young founders from across the country is a milestone Amy could not have imagined when she was packaging her first orders from home.
"This is so exciting to be featured alongside so many other amazing young entrepreneurs. Being recognised like this is huge. I've only been around since December 2024, and to already be getting this kind of recognition is amazing."
— Amy, Founder of I Heart Hoops, age 17
What's next
There is a lot more coming from I Heart Hoops. New designs, new collections, and a community of female hoopers that keeps growing. None of this would be possible without the support of every customer, affiliate, and follower who has believed in the brand from the beginning.
Thank you for being part of it.
